ABOUT US
Welcome to Hacienda el Sedan a coffee growing hacienda in the heart of the Andes mountains!
Hacienda el Sedan has been in our family for four generations, and now we open our doors to welcome you to visit and stay in the house so you can live an authentic Colombian coffee experience.
During your stay you will be able to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the amazing coffee region which UNESCO added its list of World Heritage Sites in 2011. The house has a numerous common spaces for you to savour the lush landscape, watch the countless birds, or just lie dow by the pool and have a quiet nap on the hammocks .
We also offer a wide range of activities from coffee tours in our own plantations to horse riding tours and cooking clases, so that you can experience Colombia as a local.

OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
Each morning you can enjoy a traditional Colombian breakfast with fresh fruit picked in our orchard accompanied by a cup of aromatic Colombian coffee admiring the fabulous view.

You will never get tired of the view from the garden, and can even enjoy an amazing BBQ
Daily Housekeeping
You will have daily housekeeping , so you can just relax and enjoy.
Pool & Jacuizzi
This is one of few homes in this area that has a pool, where you can relax and be delighted by the views.
At nights, have a swim in the pool or take a dip in the Jacuzzi while sipping a wonderful coctail.
Dining Service
Savour delicious typical Colombian dishes cooked especially for you by our lovely private cook, or ask for your own favourite dishes.

Coffee Tour
This is a fun activity as Hacienda el Sedan is a working farm.
Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, dried, and processed. During the harvest seasons, you can even participate in the picking! If you want to take your love for coffee to the next level, this tour involves a demonstration of how experts test and rate gourmet coffee.
Birds Safari
According to the the South American Checklist Committee, Colombia has more than 1979 confirmed species. which is more birds than any other country in the world.

Horse Riding
Horse riding tours around the state where you can feast your eyes on the coffee and avocado plantation, the beautiful river, or climb up the mountain on horseback to observe the magnificent panorama or even the snow-capped Nevado del Riuz on a clear day
